We recently attended that indie expo event during PAX West weekend, and we’re on the hunt for more locations that we can show at. While questing away, we discovered a couple useful calendars/websites that integrate nicely with Google Calendar.
We also did some quick searches for various indie game festivals/playgrounds that we can submit to:
- Indie Game Festival (Perhaps the biggest indie games festival/competition?)
- Indiecade (Second biggest indie thing to submit to?)
- Indie Megabooth (We actually did want to submit this year, but we didn’t know when the submission window was…)
- Dreamhack (Not too sure what this is, but it sounds interesting.)
- Game Development World Championship (Not too sure what this is.)
If you’re looking to get information for when these events happen or when submission windows open up, unfortunately, it looks like you’ll have to subscribe to dozens of newsletters. Probably in Chrome. Some of the newsletter signups were broken in Firefox, which was odd since they used Mailchimp.
