What are things we’re reading? Thumbnail image by Discord member CipherMeisa.
It’s pretty difficult to expand the typical reading list, but we’ve found some new websites to check semi-regularly, mostly thanks to Google’s questionably curated news feed. There’s a lot of clickbait that has to be sifted through, but the occasional substantial articles are really worth the read.

We love fonts and typography, and there’s a lot to learn from film and photography shots/angles that we can use when designing CGs. The effect of changing just the font in a game is quite amazing. The game can easily go from lighthearted to somber, spooky to comical, and amateur to professional just with a single font swap.
